Reach International is working with this global accountancy firm based in Hong Kong to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager. This client requires candidates with experience of the Hong Kong tax system, so you will either work there currently, or have worked there at some point in the past.
The Role
You will manage a team of Tax professionals through the planning and project management of Tax Advisory assignments, more detailed responsibilities include:
* Structuring cross border corporate investments, and developing acquisition strategies
* Advising on Tax implications and benefits of M&A activity
* Liaising with clients as a primary point of contact
* Identifying business opportunities and participating in the development, marketing and implementation of Tax services
* Developing and training junior members of staff
The Candidate
* Fully qualified with either an Accounting, Tax or Legal designation
* Minimum of 3 years Tax experience for Assistant Manager, 5 years for Manager (in a professional services environment)
* Experience of working closely with Transaction Services teams
* Strong business awareness and commercial acumen
* Any experience of Tax planning for Private Equity firms would be beneficial
* Strong presentation skills with exceptional English, any knowledge of Cantonese a bonus
