The Global Employer Services (GES) Technology & Transformation team are responsible for the development and implementation of technology and process projects for Deloitte clients, as well as the wider GES practice. The team deliver services across the areas of Global Mobility and Global Reward.

You will work as part of a supportive technology team responsible for a range of functions. The team is a mid-size technology group and is composed of developers and people in business and support positions.
As a Business Analyst your primary responsibility will be to provide analysis and specification of business requirements. You will be working closely with our external clients, internal clients, sales team, project managers and wider members of our business, enabling you to foster key relationships, as well as act as the interface between the development team and the business. You will play an integral role in producing accurate and concise functional specification documents that define business requirements with sufficient detail for the development team to code from.

As a Business Analyst your role will involve:
*Liaising and communicating with external and internal clients along with business specialists within Deloitte .
*Building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with business managers and business subject matter experts.
*Analysis of business requirements for new projects and enhancements to existing systems.
*Requirements gathering and scope definition of projects, visualising client requirements in terms of web based software
*Preparation of detailed functional specifications for the purpose of web based software development
*Use of UML for generation of diagrams (Eg Use Case diagrams)
*Liaising with the development team during all stages of the SDLC to explain and clarify defined requirements and deliverables .
*Development of Project Plans to define client target dates
*Test Plan generation and Co-ordination of the Testing process
*Validation project deliverables meet the defined client requirement
*Adhering to the project and departmental standards for documentation, security, source control, testing and release management. Contribution to the development of such standards where required.
To be considered you must possess:
*Good experience in translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications, as well having the ability to visualise functionality pre -development.
*Experience scoping and defining complex technology projects.
*Experience of full involvement in project life cycles.
*Experience of issue resolution and requirements clarification
*Excellent communication skills, both written and oral - confident in dealing with all levels of clients, both internally and externally.
*Excellent documentation skills
*Well-structured and logical approach to working.
*Ability to work closely with both business and IT staff in a pressured environment.
*Excellent working knowledge of web based technology.
*Excellent testing skills, including preparing test scripts and execution.
*Ability to prioritise and manage a range of conflicting deadlines, managing client and internal expectations as appropriate.
*Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Team Foundation Server.
Advantageous
*Knowledge of Global Mobility and Global Reward and experience in these areas.
*IT background, with a good appreciation of the technical challenges the development team may face.
*Knowledge of how ASP.Net web sites function and typical controls used on web pages.
*Good knowledge of SQL and relational data structures.
