To facilitate and accommodate expansion, my client, a Big 4 firm based in Belgium is seeking to recruit highly motivated professionals to join their offices in Belgium. They have a current requirement for a Corporate Tax Consultant, specialised in Mergers & Acquisitions.
The Role
Working as part of the Transactions Team, the M&A Corporate Consultant will offer Tax advice in the following framework:
• Due diligence
• Acquisition structuring
• Post-deal integration
• Legal restructuring
• Financing of acquisitions
• All other side aspects surrounding a deal which may have a tax impact
The Experience
The Corporate Tax Consultant will be able to meet the following criteria:
• Full fluency in Dutch, French and English
• University Diploma in Economics or Law, preferably with an additional Postgraduate qualification in Taxation
• Two to five years experience in the corporate taxation aspects, whether or not specifically in M&A

Climate
Brussels has a maritime temperate climate, characterised by warm summers and mild winters. The city has a high average annual rainfall, and visitors can expect a downpour any time of year. Temperatures range from highs of around 80°F (27°C) in summer to 45°F (7°C) during the middle of winter. Snow is possible, but not frequent, in winter.
