Top-tier firm based in Reading requires a Senior Manager to join its successful regional Corporate Tax team. In order to attract the right individual this firm is willing to offer up to 80k, plus performance based benefits. The main focus of this role will be to maintain existing client relationships whilst cultivating new ones, the successful candidate will find that this is a client-facing role with an emphasis on offering professional advisory services to a portfolio of clients.
Reporting to the Director/Partner, the key aspects of this role are as follows:
- Taking full responsibility for project delivery on client's portfolio
- Acting as a major point of contact within the firm for clients alongside the Corporate Tax Partner, including responding quickly to, as well as anticipating client needs
- Managing a portfolio of Tax clients including control of billings and cash collection within the firms criteria
- Extensive business development and marketing
- Reviewing work prepared by junior members of the team
- Liaising with HMRC
- Fulfilling a consultancy role on ad hoc projects within your field of specialist knowledge
The successful candidate will be ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent with an entrepreneurial mind set which will recognize business development opportunities and bid to win this new work. Candidates on track for Senior Manager would be welcome, as would experienced Senior Managers.
