The Thames Valley office requires a Tax Director able to work on Corporate assignments covering both compliance and advisory areas in addition to overseeing a small proportion of Personal tax work..
The Role:
В• Actively developing and promoting the tax function in the Reading office as well as in the Thames Valley area generally
В• Helping to ensure that CT compliance work is effectively controlled, delegated, monitored and completed to meet internal and external service delivery demands.
В• Leading or assisting with tax consultancy assignments
В• Development of new clients, attending new and existing client meetings, building up good working relationships with clients and colleagues and putting advisory skills to good use.
Experience Required/Person Specification:
В• An ambitious self starter with good team management exposure and leadership abilities, who is able to work both on a stand alone basis or as part of a team.
В• A holder of a recognised accountancy and/or tax qualification (ACCA, ACA, ATT, CTA), or able to demonstrate the required level of technical skills and experience.
Candidates should be able to work independently and generate some of their own business liaising with partners when required. Business development experience is required and clear evidence of managing a team is highly sought after for this role. This role fulfills a key function of developing the firmВ’s tax product/offering within the Reading/Thames Valley area.
