Our client is a Big 4 firm with a highly regarded taxation practice. A need has arisen to recruit an experience finance professional at Director level to work within the Global Tax Operations business. The team is responsible for the delivery of co-ordination services and contract management on the largest tax compliance engagements of the firm.
The Role:
Our clients is looking to recruit an experienced Director with a background in finance to lead coordination teams on existing contracts and facilitate growth of the business. The successful candidate will form part of a small leadership team. Additional responsibilities include:
? Build and maintain relationships with own clients and clients referred by the wider firm network.
? Responsible for high quality delivery of compliance and coordination services to major FTSE clients, ensuring management of risk and reputation
? Win work by proactively managing existing clients and targets, and supporting the firm?s teams in their business development activities
? Overall responsibility for managing key accounts, including financial and quality/risk management.
The Person:
You will likely be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with deep experience in the finance department of a corporate or professional services organization. Particular experience of assisting with tenders, contracts and key account management from a finance perspective will be welcome.
In addition you will possess the following attributes:
? Strong presentation and marketing skills and experience in developing and delivering major proposals to clients and targets
? Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to understand clients needs and deliver quality outputs to clients
? Team player with the ability to create, sustain, empower and lead diverse multinational teams across wide geographies through empathy, coaching and example
? Strong project management skills with a focus on the delivery of business goals through effective planning and monitoring of deliverables, budgeting and timescales.
