A high profile opportunity has arisen with one of the leading global Investment Banks.
My client is searching for a new EMEA Tax Manager to join their growing tax team that has established itself as a leader in the in-house tax market. With over 200 million customers across more than 100 countries this is a global position with a reach beyond the EMEA region.
The role includes:
- Reorganisations (both within a jurisdiction and multi-jurisdictional),
- Acquisitions and dispositions (Support M&A Tax Team),
- Partner closely on tax matters with in-country tax, finance and other group functions as well as on a regional and global basis,
- Make recommendations taking into account local and other tax (eg, US tax) implications,
- Transfer pricing,
- Manage relationships with outside advisors,
Requirements:
- Accountancy or legally qualified
- A financial services background is desirable but not essential.
- Worked in a multi-jurisdictional environment and gained knowledge of one or more tax systems,
- Experience of group restructurings, taxable and tax-free reorganisations, tax attribute planning, etc.,
