An established and global services company is currently looking to hire an Employment Tax Manager to act in a stand alone role, reporting to the Group Head of Tax. This permanent position will be based in Central London.
The position encompasses various areas of tax including employment tax, expatriate tax and share schemes and bonuses. You will be liaising directly with company directors and human resources concerning all aspects of employment tax compliance, planning and implementation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support regarding employment tax, expatriate tax and global mobility issues. Advise on the tax impact of Reward policies. You will be expected to strongly enhance the profile of the Employment Tax function internally.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
• Responsibility for employment and expatriate tax compliance.
• Offer guidance and advice in relation to termination payment compliance.
• Review high level incentive / share based schemes.
• Management of tax implications of cross border share scheme transactions.
• Review savings opportunities for the organisation through strategic employment tax planning.
To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate that you:
• Are a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
• Qualified CTA is desirable.
• Have strong technical skills.
• Have the ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Able to demonstrate problem solving skills.
• Are self motivated and enthusiastic.
