As an employment tax specialist, you will deal with a diverse range of high-profile clients, on projects that will present you with the kind of challenges and immediate responsibility that will fully stretch your skills.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
- Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients
- Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken
- Being closely linked with the University, the Cambridge marketplace provides excellent opportunities for those interested in working with start up technology and biochem clients so knowledge of, or the ability to spot opportunities for planning in the equity reward arena would be a bonus.
- You will also have the opportunity to work further afield than the Cambridge marketplace, working closely with the Director on a number of varied and ground breaking planning ideas.
The person:
- Strong and motivated team player
- Experienced tax practitioner with reviewing skills and expertise in functional area - extensive PAYE experience
- Client driven and strategically and commercially aware
- Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral
- Enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work
- ACA/ACCA/CA; or
- Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course; or Law qualification
- CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA)
