The role
Operating in the 'oil capital of Europe', the Aberdeen office offers unlimited opportunities, in terms of client portfolio - ranging from multi-national Oil and Gas companies to entrepreneurial businesses. Use your networking skills to proactively grow the practice, adding real value and making an impact both on the firm and on your clients. As a Senior Manager in this flourishing expatriate team you will be involved in the full client engagement process, enabling you to develop broader expatriate tax skills and specialisms. You will be provided with the tools to reach your full potential and be considered the expert in your chosen field by your peers.
As an expatriate tax specialist, you will:
* Leading business development initiatives on target accounts, contributing to winning new work.
* Leading and managing existing client engagements, owning the relationship with both the corporate client and the individual expatriates, reporting directly to the Partner.
* Advising and guiding clients on the planning and implications involved in international assignments, and resolving client queries.
* Inputting into development of new market opportunities locally and nationally with an opportunity to lead the development of the new ideas.
* Identifying cross service line opportunities.
* Developing less experienced staff with hands on advice and support.
* Undertaking technical research.

About you
To qualify, you will have:
* ATT/CTA or equivalent qualifications
* Experience of reviewing and signing out UK tax returns
* Strong client facing skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous people management experience
* Ability to develop strong relationships with clients
