A leading Insurance firm, based in the city, is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their Consolidation & Reporting Services (CRS) Team. CRS is sub-divided into four teams - Reporting, Balance Sheet and Capital, FRCF & Project Support, and Data Modelling & Systems. This role is within the Balance Sheet and Capital Team.
An immediate start is required and the contract will continue through to the end of March. The client is looking to pay between £300 and £350 a day for the right candidate. The candidate will work with other Finance Managers in the team to take responsibility for:
* Management and delivery of the consolidation and production of required reporting to Group and Regional stakeholders for all Reporting cycles, and associated reporting, in accordance with Group timetables.
* The planning of the reporting cycles, including resource planning and preparation of CRS timetables
* Work closely with other teams within CRS to provide support and assistance to enable CRS to deliver required reporting in accordance with the Service Management Framework.
* Contribute to continuous process improvement and best practice ideas to support SOX/FRCF, increase quality of deliverables and ensure cross cycle consistency.
* Work closely with regional and group stakeholders to build relationships, manage changing requirements in order to be seen as a trusted partner.
* Managing the design and maintenance of a consistent set of reports with a focus on ongoing design improvement in line with stakeholder expectations.
