| Description: | This leading fund manager is looking for a senior tax professional to take sole charge of the tax affairs affecting the investment products.
The role will work with Group Tax, who are responsible for the corporate structure, to maximise the tax efficiencies of the funds and investments. Working closely with the Operational Risk function, the role will develop a risk management framework for tax exposures.
Specific responsibilities will be:
В• Identifying securities tax exposures and tax exposures relating to the legal and operating structure of the funds
В• Creating risk procedures to identify any changes which could impact the tax risk assessment of an investment
В• Providing the interaction between the tax department, product development, fund management and risk management teams.
You will need to be ACA/CTA/legally qualified with significant tax experience within the fund management industry ideally with in-house experience. Preferably you will have a strong international tax technical background with an ability to discuss specific tax issues with non tax specialists. |
