This is a heavy-weight in-house tax opportunity with a household name financial services institution. Reporting to the Director of Tax, this role will assume a very high profile within one of the most talented in-house tax departments in the country. With a significant amount of staff management and development, the focus of this position will be on top level complianceВ management, tax reporting & risk management, supporting the UK-wide indirect tax function and providing a comprehensive business advisory service. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in tax project work. To be considered for this potentially career defining post, you will need a strong academic background and significant 'bandwidth' across UK taxes.В ACA and/or CTA qualified you will consider yourself technically robust with exceptional staff management skills and a genuine desire to promote and raise the profile of tax internally. Critically, you will also possess the ability to give tax advice within a commercial context, finding pragmatic solutions and supporting the UK Group. Financial Services experience, whilst beneficial, is not a pre-requisite.
