By joining the Reading office as a Senior Manager, you will take on a varied position involving technical work, business development and people management. The role
Working on high-profile accounts, you will be accountable for:
* Assisting in the day-to-day running of your client portfolio and managing your own workload to ensure all work is completed to time scale and within budget.
* Taking responsibility for your own financial performance
* Working effectively with the team in the UK, allocating work to junior colleagues as appropriate.
* Identification of client issues/concerns and ensuring these are effectively managed.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and targets to win and help to deliver a range of compliance and advisory projects.
* Tax planning for expatriates, including advising on and helping clients to implement tax policies for companies with expatriate workforces
* Overseeing administration of international assignment programmes, preparation of personal tax returns and delivery of counselling services for international secondees and costing of assignments.
* Advising on international social security issues
* While the main focus of the role will be on IES work, it will be it will also involve working with the wider People Services team in the UK to assist clients in managing employment tax and equity incentive issues, and identifying and helping to develop opportunities in these areas.
About you
To succeed, you will ideal be:
* CA, ACA or CTA qualified.
* Possess considerable IES experience.
* Ability to coach and manage less experienced staff.
* Identifies and pursues business opportunities.
* Gives clear directions, positive and constructive feedback.
* Analyses problems, identifies core issues, investigates, evaluates and integrates information.
* Experience of working on high profile global accounts would be beneficial.
* Communicates with impact (in writing and verbally), in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear.
* Monitors and upholds high quality of service to clients (internal and external).
* Sustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work.
