The role is for a an experienced manager or senior manager to take ownership of servicing a portfolio of existing clients as well as being responsible for contributing to our business development activities for a range of clients. This will involve challenging tax technical work across a wide variety of clients focused on insurance clients and life insurance in particular . The insurance tax team operate as part of he financial services tax practice so there are potential opportunities for exposure to wider FS clients.
We are committed to investing in our insurance tax practice, having taken on 2 new partners, which has enabled us further to concentrate on growing our client base. We have a very strong actuarial practice with whom we work very closely with when dealing with life insurance clients enabling us to provide a wider range of services.
As a Manager / Senior Manager your role would include:
· Managing a portfolio of existing audit and tax compliance and advisory clients
· Taking ownership of client relationships for list of clients
· Organising and driving targeted activity for list of new /prospective clients
· Taking responsibility for tax propositions as appropriate / agreed and managing activity across the client base
· Working with colleagues in other service lines to develop propositions and client relationships
· Getting involved in cross service line projects such as M&A, restructuring etc
· Staff management and development contributing to the achievement of team goals
To qualify, you will be / have:
· ACA, CTA qualified or equivalent with life tax experience
· Experience of building, developing and maintaining relationships with clients .
· Enthusiasm and good team player
· Experience of developing and mentoring others
