Assistant Manager - Indirect Tax - Health - UK wide
Our rapidly growing NHS Tax team is looking to recruit to continue helping our clients across the UK. You will work autonomously for a superior client portfolio with the UK's largest and award winning Indirect Tax group while developing your skill set and establishing your own network as you gain exposure across a mix of service lines. Our work is varied and involves advising on all of the core compliance indirect tax issues in the NHS (e.g. Contracted-out services) as well as more complex technical advice on new commercial developments.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing VAT compliance and consultancy advice to clients
- Assisting business development initiatives on target accounts
- Assisting existing client engagements
- Helping to develop less experienced staff with hands on advice and support
- Input into development of new market opportunities locally and nationally with an opportunity to help the market development of the new ideas
- Growing and enhancing relationships with targets and clients
- Working across service lines on new opportunities
To be considered, you must possess:
- ATT or CTA or equivalent qualification or experience
- Prior VAT experience gained within professional services or HMRC
- Excellent client facing, relationship building and business development skills, coupled with commercial awareness
