This well known retail business offers an opportunity for a tax specialist to join on a part-time basis. The role will cover all aspects of direct and indirect tax compliance for the UK and Irish business, as well as to provide support and advice in respect of new business projects and other corporate activity.
Key Responsibilities will include:
*Preparation of tax returns (UK, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey), including capital allowance review
*Calculation and administration of instalment payments
*Calculation of current and deferred tax provisions for statutory accounts
*Monitoring of transfer pricing issues and administering associated license licence and management fees
*Review of monthly VAT returns and dealing with ad hoc indirect tax queries
*Coordination of annual PAYE and related payroll tax returns
*Maintaining the relationship with HMRC and coordinating SAO certification
*Consideration of tax saving opportunities by discussion with advisors and attendance at seminars etc
This role will report in to the Finance Director and you will be required to interface regularly with different parts of the business. The role is 3 days a week but there may be flexibility.We request applications to be submitted in a word format only.
