A Manager will have the overall responsibility for a portfolio of complex clients, including entrepreneurs, people with inherited wealth, company directors, sportsmen, entertainers and shareholders of OMBs.
Key responsibilities:
* Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as one of the main points of contact for the client
* Advising client regarding any planning opportunities in CGT, IT, IHT
* Advice regarding setting up UK and offshore trusts, and reviewing existing trusts to establish the UK tax treatment
* Transaction advice (eg sale of owner-managed businesses)
* Managing WIPs and issuing fees on a timely basis
You will be CTA/ ACA quallfied with relevant experience, with strong technical skills in IT, CGT, residence and domicile, and trusts. You should have strong client handling skills and be able to develop good relationships with clients, as well as promoting the department with a view to generating work.
You will have good delegation and management skills, be able to review work and have the ability to encourage the development of the more junior members of the team. Team player!
