Our client is a leading international consulting firm with an expanding tax systems & technology consulting practice. Currently looking to build the practice in Europe, they are now seeking to recruit a lead adviser (Senior Manager or Director level) to pitch to new client assignments and to run tax technology implementations projects. Projects will be working with mid to top tier European corporate groups / Plcs, and will work closely with them on their tax process & systems (involving either a SAP-Tax or Oracle-Tax set-up) or tax systems upgrades. Projects can be focused on either direct tax or indirect tax systems. To match up to the needs of this specialist work, you will ideally have a tax accounting or indirect tax background (from Big 4 or industry), and with additional experience of working on tax software / systems / automation technology. It will be a major advantage if you have hands-on practical experience of working on a tax transformation with a corporate group, where there has been a shared- service centre set-up or with a tax bolt-on to a SAP/Oracle roll-out. Roles can be based across Europe, in particular one of Switzerland / Germany / Netherlands / Scandanavia.
