Our client is a Big 4 firm whose Financial Services tax practice provides advisory, transactions and compliance services to a variety of clients in the Financial Services market ranging from some of the world's largest multinational institutions, corporations and funds.
The Role:
As a result of their strong expansion plans, our client is looking for an individual for their Tax Accounting Risk & Advisory Services team. This is a growing team and offers the right candidate strong opportunities for career progression and development.
Working as an integral part of the team you will have an instrumental role in developing the business. In addition you will have the following responsibilities:
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
• Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business driven approach taken
• Assist in winning work by proactively leveraging existing client relationships and contribute to winning new clients.
The Person:
You will be an experienced tax professional with the relevant professional qualification who is looking for an exciting opportunity to join this growing team.
In addition you will possess the following attributes:
• Experienced tax practitioner
• Tax audit experience and experience in preparing and reviewing tax provisions
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance, reporting and risk management
• Extensive knowledge of the accounting principles under US GAAP
• FS industry knowledge preferred but not essential
• Team player with ability to create, sustain and lead effective teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
