Providing support to the senior management of this cutting edge FTSE, your role will play a pivotal part in the continued success of the business. Your core responsibilities will cover supporting business transactions, delivering accurate forecasting/reporting and assisting with the development of ideas & planning projects to ensure that successful ETR savings occur.
The technical dimension of this role requires someone to have a solid foundation of experience with IFRS accounting (Hyperion) and a good knowledge of international tax, DTR, TP & withholding taxes, ideally combined with an awareness of treasury issues. You will have strong UK Plc experience and be ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent).
The split between tax reporting/forecasting and tax advisory will be dependent on past experience and business needs. A background in technology would be of particular interest, although all sectors will be seriously considered. Interpersonally you must be able to work well as part of a team, display integrity & initiative and be keen to develop the more junior staff within the business.
