Sitting within the Global Tax and Trade team this role will cover the UK and EMEA markets.
Job Responsibilities:
-Tax Accounting:
You will have responsibility for the computation of quarter end tax provisions for all EMEA legal entities. Tax provisions need to be calculated to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. You will work closely with the Corporate Tax Manager as achieving this result for legal entities across multiple tax jurisdictions demands advanced knowledge of tax rules, awareness of emerging regulatory issues and demonstrate an excellent command of finance technical skills. You will also need to be highly networked to stay informed on business developments occurring outside your area of responsibility.
-US Tax Reporting:
Providing US format tax computations for each quarter end close is critical for computing the worldwide tax charge, which forms a part of the earnings release.
-UK R&D Tax Credit Claim - responsibility for the preparation of the UK R&D tax credit claim which will include keeping up to date with the relevant changes in legislation.
You will have an ACA/CTA or equivalent and a strong knowledge of current tax issues.
