This is an outstanding opportunity for a tax professional looking for their first move out of practice into a listed global business. Or, for an already experienced industry & commerce tax accountant.
Key responsibilities include:
• Taking ownership of international tax planning ensuring you liaise effectively with the relevant internal stakeholders.
• Preparation of tax provisions and computations, as well as the tax returns for the UK and EMEA regions.
• Management of all corporation tax and related issues.
• Implement, maintain and improve control procedures and tax policies, including risk assessment of a new business or projects in a new jurisdiction.
• Maintain and develop transfer pricing policies, documentation and its implementation.
• Work closely with external advisors and taking the opportunity to proactively manage those relationships.
• Projects relating to debt capitalisation and reporting following the new SAO rulings.
The Person
Qualified from practice with ACA/CTA or equivalent qualifications. Being commercially astute will be important whilst also being able to demonstrate that you can influence at all levels.
You will be keen to progress as well within your capacity in the Tax team, as the business will be offering excellent career prospects for the right candidates.
