Marcussen Consulting is a fast paced, highly successful Tax Consultancy based in Bath, in the South West of England. We are currently recruiting for a Tax Supervisor/Manager to join our team.

Exciting growth plans mean we need to recruit a Tax Supervisor/Manager to work within our Personal Tax Team. Our client base is diverse, ranging from small quoted companies to high profile entrepreneurs predominantly in the IT, Finance and Media Industries. Most are based in London or abroad.
Main responsibilities
Working within the Personal Tax team, you will be responsible for:
• Preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns for individuals and computation of their tax liabilities
• Preparation and review of partnership tax returns and computation of tax liabilities
• Preparation of tax adjusted accounts (occasional) for individuals and partnerships
• Assisting with EMI annual returns and Forms 42
• Making timely and appropriate Payments on Account
• Tax calculation/reconciliation
• Liaising with the banking/finance sector to obtain third party information
• Any other compliance related processing duties as and when they arise
Remuneration package
• Attractive remuneration package - £30,000 to £40,000

Personal skills required
• Experience of working in a tax compliance role and understanding the preparation process
• Must be CTA/ATT/ACA qualified
• Able to use IRIS software (not essential)
• Able to meet deadlines
• Projects an appropriate professional image
• Excellent attention to detail
• Takes a proactive approach to work
• Ability to manage time effectively and to self-motivate completing multiple tasks/assignments to deadlines
• Enthusiastic team player and trusted point of contact within the Personal Tax team
