Senior Tax Manager - 12 month contract - July start, to £140k

The Tax Department is responsible for ensuring that the group meets its tax compliance requirements in the jurisdictions in which it operates, and provides support and advice to the business and other support functions as appropriate.

The Tax Senior Manager will design and implement technology solutions to improve corporate tax compliance and reporting processes within the business's tax department. Additionally, this role will involve supporting the team with financial reporting and compliance work, as well as involvement in tax advisory and transfer pricing projects on an ad hoc basis.

Main responsibilties:

* Identify and implement improvements to existing tax compliance and reporting processes through the use of technology.
* Collaborate with tax teams in other entities to understand tax technology initiatives across the group and to share the company experiences.
* Work with Finance team members and external advisers on tax aspects of phase 2 of the implementation project
* Review organisation of tax data/knowledge within existing systems and design and create dashboards to provide easy access to key information
* Review UK corporate tax returns (4 entities)
* Tax reporting and forecasting, including providing input to audit processes
* Support the tax team eith other projects/work on an ad hoc basis which includes tax advisory work, tax compliance, transfer pricing and legal contract review.

Suitable candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong project management skills and high levels of self-motivation and engagement.

This role will be for 12 months and suitable individuals will be available to start a role in July.
