Excellent career opportunity has arisen within this enterprise financial solution company, based in London. This company is a market leader in the specialist area of ERP-tax solutions and tax data management.
This role will be focused on a new product offering, and will act as a functional consultant to clients on the product. The role will involve meeting with client contacts, typically heads of tax and senior financial officers of large target organisations, and advising on the use of the product, the features and benefits of the software, and the capabilities for tax data management, particularly around SAP-tax data and tax accounting functionality. The role will also act as a link person back to the software developers for improving of functions and further customisation for the client.
To match with this role, we are seeking candidates with strong knowledge and experience around tax accounting and process, ideally with knowledge on IAS12 and IFRS tax guidelines. You will be currently working at Consultant / AM / Manager grade within a tax function, and looking to refocus your tax career in a new area, namely in the area of tax & data technology. In addition to a tax background, you will have strong skills around IT - Excel, ERP or database experience with be an advantage. You do not need any IT programming experience.
You will also have some good client interaction experience, ideally involvement with presentations or other marketing initiatives. You will be very organised, a good listener and talker and with a deep interest in technology solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a first move into tax technology and with scope for progression in the company in the short / medium term.
This is a London based role with some / minimal travel, and a good level of work flexibility and scope for home-working.
