Corporate Tax Manager, Top Tier Firm, Sydney, to $160k

The Firm

Working within the reputable Tax practice of a top tier Chartered Accounting firm, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Manager. You will lead and manage multiple operations of the Tax practice in co-ordination with the firms’ Partners to deliver high quality Tax services to a varied client portfolio of mid to large size organisations, family groups and trusts. You will utilise your Tax advisory and compliance experience to serve as the trusted adviser to clients aiming to maximise engagement and achieve tangible outcomes.

The role

• Deliver a full range of Tax advice in compliance with laws and regulations
• Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
• Provide innovative Tax planning for clients and review complex income Tax returns
• Identify and mitigate Tax risks
• Coordinate staff, team workflow and appraise performance
• Manage Tax provision and Tax compliance processes
• Manage and coordinate tax audits
• Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tax manager
• CA Qualification
• Ability to provide Tax advice and compliance to a broad client base
• Ability to build relationships with clients
• Ability to solve problems and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of Tax software and MS Office suite
• Analytical ability and attention to detail
