Our client is made up of a number of different businesses with their own finance team so tax acts as an internal consulting offering and support function as well as leading the consolidated tax reporting and annual return and compliance.

About the Role

The role will include:
• FBT preparations and lodgings;
• GST returns;
• PAYG reviews; and
• Advising the business on any transnational, restructuring or international tax concerns.

This opportunity will have you assisting the company's Head of Taxation; it is the chance for an experienced Tax Professional to enter into a commercial organisation which strives to inspire, create and deliver value.

About You

Our client is looking for someone who is meticulous, passionate and autonomous. This opportunity will be suitable for someone who thrives off of a fast paced environment, and has the capability to deal with a high volume of work.

To be considered for this role, please send forward your resume which highlights your qualifications, skills and experience in the following areas:
• Minimum 5 years' Tax Accounting and Australian Corporate Tax compliance experience (gained within listed Australian company desirable)
• Mananger level experience required
• Expatriate, Employment or International Tax experience will be highly regarded additional experience
• Strong tax effect accounting skills
• Experience in completing annual company returns
• Comprehensive understanding of FBT, and capable in advising the business units on how to manage FBT cost
• Microsoft Excel/ONESOURCE/Powertax skills and experience
• Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent communication
• A motivated tax professional who wants to both improve processes and anticipate risks and opportunities
