Corporate Tax Senior Manager, London

Simpson Booth are representing a leading professional services firm in London that is looking for a Corporate Tax Senior Tax Manager to join their growing Energy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the firm and to develop their experience across a range of clients, from top tier energy sector clients, through to smaller private equity backed / start-up businesses.

This position would suit an ambitious Senior Tax Manager who is looking for a full-service corporate tax role that covers advisory, transaction support, compliance and tax audit work.

Main Responsibilities:
• Building and maintaining client relationships, including identifying new business opportunities
• Responsible for the delivery of high quality tax service to a broad client portfolio, including working with other functions across within the firm as required.
• Successfully managing complex tax audits and other transactions
• Delivery of both UK and international corporate tax advice and support to clients
• Mentoring and development of tax team.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Strong educational background
• Background in professional practice, with significant experience in both UK and international tax
• ACA, CA, CTA or ACCA or equivalent qualified with significant tax audit experience.
• Proven ability to manage clients and develop new business opportunities.
• Ability to build teams and develop, coach and lead staff.
• High level of drive and enthusiasm, together with strong analytical and technical skills
• Experience of the energy sector is preferred but not essential
