A global multinational, FTSE listed firm is expanding its Tax Technology team due to the implementation of its Global Indirect Tax strategy in regards of SAP Indirect Tax configuration.
About your role
Your role will be to manage the VAT configuration in SAP, to do so, you will use your Indirect Tax knowledge in LATAM (Brazil, Argentina). You will be responsible from Early Engagement (workshops, country specific information packs), Scoping and Planning (present suggested tax design), Detailed Design (stress testing), Realisation (System/Process testing, knowledge transfer), Go-live (on-call support in the first weeks).
You will use tax knowledge to understand the tax treatment applicable to transactions and your SAP knowledge to correctly configure tax codes and tables within the system to ensure that transactions are processed correctly.
The requirements
Knowledge of the Indirect Tax regimes in LATAM Brazil, Argentina) and a good understanding of general tax principles and the associated SAP configuration for tax purposes.
A proven track record in SAP systems related VAT configuration (3 years’ min)
Involved in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project
Strong communication skills as you will interact with various grades and disciplines
Fluency in Spanish
