Group Tax Manager - Technology

Nebula Partners are working with a growing Fintech business to identify a commercial tax specialist to join their small tax team. The Group Tax Manager will support the head of tax in the management of the group’s tax reporting and compliance obligations and contribute to international tax project work. This is a challenging and varied role and will suit a hands-on tax specialist working in the profession or someone coming from an in-house role.

Responsibilities:

• You’ll work with the finance team and external advisors to ensure all tax compliance for the group (including corporation tax, VAT, employment tax, transfer pricing, WHT etc).
• You’ll also supervise the calculation and payment of all tax payments (with the support of the accounts team and external advisors)
• UK R&D claim preparation
• SAO documentation preparation
• Manage tax reporting requirements
• Provide advice to the business on a range of issues including systems improvement and contribute to the implementation of a new financial system, transfer pricing international tax advice and planning (new and existing markets), assist in DD for new markets or products, assist with regular risk reviews.
