Manager / Senior Manager, M&A Tax, Belgium

Tonic International Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading global consultancy based in Brussels, assisting them to hire a Tax Manager / Senior Manager specialised in Mergers and Acquisitions.

Your role will involve managing and coordinating the client service team working on Belgian and international M&A tax projects; developing high-performing people and teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities; working together with other M&A experts from audit, financial advisory and consulting teams; developing commercial relationships with clients and identifying business opportunities.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years relevant experience as an internal or external tax advisor in a consulting or a law firm, corporate group or similar environment
• Strong working knowledge of (tax) M&A processes
• Prior management experience
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) – additional European languages are desirable

This role will be based in Brussels – home to numerous European institutions and world headquarters of multinationals, it is one of the most multicultural cities in Europe. Aside from a robust economy and buoyant job market, Brussels also has a lively arts and cultural scene, but is perhaps best known for its cuisine including some of the world’s finest chocolate and beer!
