To be a member of the National Tax team responsible for creation of technical content on private client tax work for review by senior members of the team.

As an internal role, the clients are team members of Mazars.
Job Role
The purpose of this role is to create private client tax technical content for the Mazars tax practice, including the following:
• to keep the practice updated on essential technical developments, both at overview and in-depth levels;
• to create practical tools to increase efficiencies, such as tax toolkits with standard documentation, checklists, aide memoirs and standard client emails/ letters;
• to create or update marketing material in key campaign areas, both that for use internally to help generate additional fees and external material, such as flyers and website or blog content;
• assistance with review and development of private client tax content for national tax technical training programme, and possible participation in presenting;
• to assist in putting together the firm’s responses to consultation papers.
Person Specification
This role requires excellent private client tax technical skills, coupled with creativity, as it will involve creating new ideas, approaches or tools for the tax practice. Good communication skills, both written and oral are essential. As the National Tax team is small, it will be essential for the person to work closely with others in the same team, and to be prepared to take part in other projects as the need arises, which are not necessarily tax technical (such as operational issues covering private client tax work).
We are looking for a person with the drive and enthusiasm who can help us develop materials available to our tax practice. In particular, we are looking for:
• CTA and/or ACA
• A corporate tax assistant manager with broad practical experience of private client tax work
• Self-starter who can take on projects and is committed to delivery
• Excellent technical skills in private client tax work
• Ability to analyse and explain new legislation and other technical developments in a comprehensible manner
• Someone who wants to make a positive difference
• Enthusiasm for growing the tax practice and adding value to our tax offering
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Thorough and orderly work style with meticulous attention to detail
