VAT Consultant / Senior Consultant - Qatar

An ideal opportunity for VAT Consultants and Senior Consultants to get an exposure to the VAT implementation in the Middle East! A leading professional services firm are looking for bring on board a number of VAT consultants and Senior Consultants into their Doha office so assist with the upcoming VAT implementation in Qatar in January 2019.

The role would involve a broad range of responsibilities including advising clients in Qatar on how to be VAT compliant, assisting with broader delivery of VAT projects won by senior members in the VAT team. You would be working in a smaller team operating in a flat structure with access to directors and partners in the practice for training and development opportunities.

As anyone in VAT can appreciate, the implementation in the Middle East is a unique opportunity given the size of the market and the attractive quality of life it's one not to be missed!

Requirements for the role:

1) A minimum of 1 years of VAT experience (Big Four background preferable)

2) Fluency in English is required (Arabic language skills highly advantageous)

3) Willingness to travel occasionally within the region

4) An educational background in Tax Law would be advantageous
