Senior Private Client Tax Manager, St Albans

The St Albans office of this ranked firm of Chartered Accountants provide a wide range of professional services to owner managed businesses and wealthy individuals.

As a Senior Private Client Tax Manager in this advisory-weighted role, you will have managerial responsibility for six people and you will report directly to two private client tax partners.

Your client work will be quite varied and split between providing private client tax advice to high net worth individuals and general personal tax clients and working with the Trust department on Estate issues.

You will work closely with the private client partners, as well as other partners in the firm, to help them to successfully provide the complete service to private clients whose tax affairs range from the relatively routine to quite complex in nature.

Suitable candidates are likely to be experienced private client tax advisers who are familiar with areas such as inheritance tax planning, optimising all personal tax reliefs in lifetime and on death, as well as experienced in managing colleagues and reviewing their compliance work.

You are someone who can work without the need for supervision, show initiative in dealing with the affairs of clients and monitor your own time budgets and prepare bills.
