About Our Client
Our client is an international healthcare group with a strong regional presence. They are currently looking to expand their current finance and accounting function and have introduced a brand new position for an experienced Tax Accountant to oversee the MENA region.
Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this Tax Accountant will be responsible to/for:
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Assist in implementation of VAT strategies across the region.
- Providing training/information to businesses on implications of VAT
- Remaining up to date on VAT legislation/updates
- Identify and mitigate tax risks
- Assessing the impact of changes in tax law and accounting principles on the business
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for this Tax Accountant role will have;
- A minimum of 3-5 years of public accounting or tax consulting experience.
- CA or equivalent qualification
- Any implementation experience (VAT, GST) is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership and initiative.
