JUNIOR VAT CONSULTANT – GOUDA, THE NETHERLANDS

The role:
As a JUNIOR VAT CONSULTANT you have two main areas. The first is the substantive VAT advisory work - in this context you will set up VAT declarations both nationally and internationally. You will also assist the (senior) advisors in the preparation of advisory work in the field of indirect taxes. The second area is coordinating large, international VAT compliance assignments. You will also collaborate with your international colleagues as you fulfill your role as a VAT Consultant.

With our client’s ongoing mentoring and training you will learn to translate complex matter into simple, practical solutions. You will learn to always approach an assignment from the basic idea that the end solution must suit the client’s needs.
What we are looking for?:

As a JUNIOR VAT CONSULTANT you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• You have completed a Master's degree in tax law or tax economics. A focus on the study of Indirect Taxes and work experience in VAT is an advantage.

• You have a pragmatic customer and solution-oriented attitude.

• You are strong at coordinating and have good communication and social skills.

• You have a good command of the Dutch and English language.

• You have good knowledge of IT and software packages.
