Tax Accountant – Global Multinational

£50-60K + bonus/bens
Our Client a leading player in their industry is a FTSE 100 firm with over 80,000 employees operating around the globe. A house-hold name you would be part of their Tax Compliance team based in London responsible for the preparation & submission of the UK tax returns for a portfolio of UK business units in a timely manner. You would also assist with capital allowances claims, R&D claims, risk management and process improvements, preparation of year end, tax journals and other ad-hoc projects.
You would be liaising with finance teams to ensure any ad-hoc transactions are considered, a point of contact for HM Revenue and customs enquires – involvement in any M&A activity and transfer pricing projects.
Qualifications & Experience
Ideally you will have already gained some of the above experience in another in-house role – have a proven track record in a tax compliance capacity with up to date technical knowledge of UK tax and IFRS/UK GAAP financial reporting. Ideally you will be qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent but is not essential if you have very strong tax accounting experience. You will need to have strong IT systems knowledge, experience of Alphatax would be advantageous.
