As a tax manager in this technology group, you will report directly to the Tax & Treasury Director. You will be taking responsibility for tax matters and provide tax support to the business in Germany and various EMEA territories.
Key requirements
• Advise and support the business in relation to German direct and indirect tax issues
• Support all direct tax and transfer pricing compliance requirements
• Provide support and advice in relation to transfer pricing audits
• Ensure tax figures and disclosures in local financial statements / statutory accounts are calculated, complete and accurate
• Manage tax audits
• Optimise local tax planning opportunities
• Act as an ambassador for Tax, building relationships with stakeholders across the business
• Support the Treasury team in relation to the management of cash and intercompany balances
• Provide tax support and advice in relation to one-off projects
About you
• Accounting or tax qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience advising on German direct and indirect tax matters
• Experience of managing tax issues arising in foreign territories
• Some experience of dealing with day-to-day practical transfer pricing issues
• Ability to discuss tax technical matters in plain language
• Excellent English language skills
