Senior Tax Manager

We are currently seeking a Senior US tax manager to join our Sydney based team.

US Global Tax is a specialist US expatriate taxation practice, with offices in Auckland and Sydney, serving US citizens for their tax obligations throughout Australasia and further afield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior US tax professional who is looking for a leadership role in a rapidly growing and dynamic organisation.

This is a hands-on role that has the potential to develop into a much more strategy focus as the business develops and grows.
Specifically, the role will include:

• Establishing tax position for the company, in partnership with our NZ based Head of Taxation
• Leading and Developing our Australian based tax team
• Quality assurance - Peer review of tax return preparation, training and assistance to junior staff
• Limited US tax return preparation in the most complex cases
• Tax consulting – Providing complex US tax advice to our clients
• Managing a growing office of US tax accountants.

The ideal individual will be:

• At least 5 years experience as a senior US tax accountant
• Excellent English communication skills
