Our client is at the forefront of the InsurTech industry, a sector known for its rapid growth and innovation. The client is on an ambitious path of expansion, marked by a series of strategic acquisitions. To support their growth and ensure seamless integration of our acquisitions, they are looking to hire a Senior Tax Manager with a focus in M&A and International Tax. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead M&A due diligence (DD) efforts, assessing tax risks and opportunities, and facilitating the seamless integration of acquisitions
• Oversee and coordinate with international tax advisors to ensure the effective execution of global tax strategies
• Supervise and mentor a junior tax accountant in matters of corporate tax compliance and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic tax insights and solutions that align with the company's growth objectives
• Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and advise on the implications for ongoing and future M&A activities.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a tax role with exposure to international tax and M&A
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent) with a strong academic background
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, local and abroad
